Two teens injured in Nodaway County wreck

MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol says two Nebraska teenagers were seriously injured in a Nodaway County wreck.

The Patrol says 18-year-old Kodenn Koester of Dubois was driving a 2014 Dodge Charger on 64 Highway, near Hawk Road, two miles west of Maryville.

At 5:45 a.m. Thursday, the Charger ran off the road, struck an embankment, became airborne and struck a culvert before overturning.

Koester, and a passenger, 18-year-old Jenna Weidner of Omaha, were taken to Mosaic in Maryville with serious injuries. Both were wearing a seatbelt.
